What is BentInstruTonics? BentInstruTronics is a website containing the projects and ideas that I (Storm) have built, bent and/or moddified, mainly electronic, to make intruments that I use to make music with.
I do however make and build other DIY stuff that may or may not relate to music at all.

Wow it's been over a year since I last wrote any news about this site. Well thats because Ive been focusing on the contents of the site rather then the site itself. I have completed my tabs plugin, however it looks more like a button plugin on my site, this is do to the css code I am using. I will release it once the code is cleaned up. Future Updates to come. 1. Would like to add a category links section to the right colum, so when a user visits a category page the links of the same category are displyed. For the past week I have been trying to learn ways to manipulate wordpress so it had the look and feel I wanted. Now my data will be better controlled and easier to manipulate, and more like a CMS and less like a blog. Im trying to bring more information to the surface of my site. I currently have a complex hierarchy that is made of many layers. So today I have updated the HR-16 to have all data on one page ve. having it linked to from one page, in other words no more sub-links.
In the current version you can load in your own sounds, edit the length of the sound to fit in a given sample location or make it shorter if you wish. You can also revere the sample by adjusting the sliders. You can playback your loaded and edited samples so you will have an idea of what will playback from your HR-16/B. Here is a schematic of the 8 Game Cart This is a Image of my Completed 8 Game Cart This is the chart with calculations for addressing the EPROM used in the 8 Game Cart. This is how I determined where to place the switches and at what address location to load the games. Each game can be a max of 4KB or 32Kb.
A typical Atari Cart uses a 2532 which has a active high for chip enable. This is uncommon for most EPROMs used today. So you need to use an inverter to create an active low chip enable, or simply tie the chip enable to ground like I have show here in this schematic. If you are wanting to build your own 4K Atari Video Game here is a simple schematic of how to do it with a 2732 EPROM.
PMAN - PJRC MP3 And NAS, a MP3 player with NAS capabilites. The Below pics are of my recently finished MP3 player for my home stereo system. Its currently sitting on my Laser Disc Player. The MyPod was a MP3 Player made from a PJRC MP3 player. Since the construction of this MP3 player I have purchased an iPod. So the need for this player has decreased. I would now like to add this player to my home stereo system. Im trying to find a case about the same width as my home stereo and with the hieght big enough for the LCD.
